The Institute for Turnaround are proud to present their 2014 Annual Lecture, which will be delivered by the 2013 IFT Foundation Award Winner and Chief Executive of Turning Point Lord Victor Adebowale CBE on Wednesday 4th June. The lecture will take place at Pinsent Masons LLP, 30 Crown Place, London EC2A 4ES, commencing from 18:00.

Lord Victor Adebowale is a social entrepreneur and a champion for the cause of those affected by poverty, mental health issues, drugs, alcohol, learning disability and complex needs. He has turned around the organisations he was brought in to lead both financially and operationally. Turning Point began with one project in London and has grown to be a leading organisation with over 40 years of experience in providing health and social care services. Lord Victor joined Turning Point as Chief Executive in 2001. They are now one of the UK's leading social care organisations and have seen annual turnover grow from £32 million to £92 million under his leadership.

Prior to this Lord Victor was Chief Executive of youth homelessness charity Centrepoint. Whilst at Centrepoint he led the growth in annual turnover from £1.5m to £8m and oversaw a number of remarkable achievements enabling the charity to deliver an enhanced service at a reduced cost.

In 2000, Lord Victor was awarded a CBE for services to the New Deal, the unemployed and homeless young people and in 2001, he was appointed a cross bench member of the House of Lords.

This inspiring and entertaining lecture will close with a networking reception and buffet.
