The Beijing chapter of the Asia Transformation and Turnaround Association (ATTA) invites you to attend the second in a series of roundtable discussions on opportunities for foreign enterprises in the One Belt One Road (OBOR) program, also called Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Since our first meeting in early June 2017, several new research papers and government announcements have highlighted new expectations for foreign participation. One development is the acknowledgement that along OBOR, Chinese firms will excel in infrastructure building, but will rely on foreign managers and corporations to manage the resulting service operations until more experience is gained by indigenous companies and governments. Operating agreements will open possibilities for law firms, accounting and consulting companies, and also for independent turnaround and transformation executives with experience in China’s business culture.
The discussion will start with an overview OBOR/BRI to date from Bob Fonow, RGI Ltd. A lively, interesting and valuable discussion with several viewpoints was a feature of the first meeting in June 2017.
